Order of the Fat Quarter

Peace River Quilters' Guild is fortunate to have many individuals who have constantly volunteered their time and expertise to make the guild what it is today. It is time we recognize these individuals for their contribution by establishing the "Order of the Fat Quarter." This program is also in place at other guilds throughout the country.  The basic guidelines are:

    * Nominations will be accepted from any member.  Nominations must be in writing, signed, and dated by the nominator.  Forms are available periodically in the newsletter, on the information table at guild meetings and also on this web site.

    * Give your nominations to the First Vice President, Connie Milone.  We will keep them on file for future consideration as well.

    * The Guild's Board of Directors will review all nominations and will make the final decisions on the recipients.

    * Up to two individuals will receive a fat quarter of gold fabric and will be recognized at each Fall (October) luncheon and Spring (March) luncheon, as well as at the following business meeting and in the newsletter. They will also be forever listed in our annual guild directory.
